Ingredients:
-
4 slices of Brumby’s Wholemeal Sandwich Loaf
-
185g canned tuna in oil
-
2 tbsp mayonnaise
-
1 spring onion, finely chopped
-
1 handful dill, finely chopped
-
3 tsp butter
-
100g grated cheddar cheese
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
-
Step 1:
In a medium bowl, add the tuna, mayo, spring onion, dill, grated cheese, plus salt and pepper. Mix well.
-
Step 2:
Butter one side of each slice of bread. Next, on the side with no butter, add the tuna mix and then place the second buttered slice on top (the butter should be facing out so it touches the heat when toasting).
-
Step 3:
Using a grill or sandwich press, toast the tuna melt until golden on the outside and the cheese is melted. This takes around 5 minutes.
-
Step 4:
Remove from the heat and cut in half. Enjoy your cheesy tuna melt.
