A local Elanora bakery is reaping the rewards, taking out the Brumby’s Bakery National Sales Growth Award after upgrading to a new-look evolution store as part of the $30 million redevelopment of The Pines Shopping Centre.
Brumby’s The Pines was upgraded earlier this year as part of the shopping centre’s commitment to fresh food retailers, and since has seen a 25% increase in sales.
Brumby’s franchise partner Luke White said the transformation of the centre and his store has been vital to the growth and development of the area.
“The new look and feel of the store has been imperative in making it a success, and has attributed to our 25% growth in sales,” he said.
“The store’s renovation features a new logo, colour palette, store design, menu and enhanced product range.
“Our customers are enjoying the rustic, authentic feel of the store and love our new Artisan bread range.”
The store recently won the Brumby’s Bakery Sales Growth award for 2016, commemorating them for the increase in sales, which were the largest company-wide.
“It’s a huge achievement for us and we hope to continue offering fresh, authentic and nutritious products that our customers love, well into the future,” said Luke.
The population around the centre is expected to reach 145,000 people by 2026, and the store is looking to longevity to ensure they’re still around to cash in.
“It’s important to grow and develop with the times, and it’s great to be part of a brand that recognises the value in adapting,” said Luke.
“At the moment, we’re experiencing a surge in health and dietary conscious purchases and as such, we’ve responded with preservative free loaves, low gluten loaves and the Get Active range with functional health benefits, as well as a wide range of artisan and specialty breads including our new Authentic Sourdough.”
Brumby’s Bakery The Pines is located at Shop 76, The Pines Shopping Centre, Corner KP McGrath Drive and Guiness Creek Road, Elanora.
